For the upcoming election, GEEARS reached out to candidates* in contested Georgia House and Senate races, as well as U.S. House races, to submit an answer to the following question:
Georgia is often touted as the best state to do business. How would you ensure that it is also the best place to raise young children?
Below you can find more information about all of the candidates who are running for Georgia House and Senate, as well as U.S. House in Georgia, and read the responses from the nearly 70 candidates who answered the question. You can confirm your State House and Senate districts, as well as U.S. House district, by going to My Voter Page.
Note: As a 501(c)(3) charity, GEEARS does not endorse any candidate. Our mission is to educate the public and candidates about the issues that impact young children and their families.
Candidate responses were published as they were received and not edited for clarity, spelling, punctuation, or grammar.
*The GEEARS team did their best to reach any qualified candidate in a contested State Senate, State House, or U.S. House race for the upcoming November general election. However, publicly available contact information or social media accounts were not available for all candidates. If you are a candidate in a contested Georgia State Senate, State House, or U.S. House race and would like to participate, please reach out to Jessica Woltjen at jwoltjen@geears.org.
