To our valued child care providers and early educators,

As professionals who spend every day with Georgia’s youngest students, you are our state’s foremost authorities on early childhood. No voice matters more than yours when advocating for policies critical to your success.

We know you’re incredibly busy. You may also feel worried or overwhelmed about the potential impacts of the shifting federal and state policy landscape on the work you do every day.

But it doesn’t have to be isolating. In fact, this is precisely the time when we, as an early childhood community, should come together.

Therefore, Tuesday, March 18th, from 5:00-6:00 PM, the 22 leading child care organizations below invite you to a virtual town hall where you can learn concrete ways to let your legislators know what you’re experiencing and what you need.

At this gathering, we want to hear the stories of your hard work, your joys, and your challenges. We also want to give you space to listen and support each other. We’ll update you on the latest developments at the state and federal levels. Most of all, through this town hall, we hope you’ll recognize your own power and learn how to make a difference .

  • Georgia’s early childhood workforce is 72,000 people strong. There’s power in those numbers.
  • You bring your experience, education, and skills to work with you every day to support the high-quality early learning and healthy development of Georgia’s youngest children. There’s power in your expertise.
  • You have a deep understanding of your kids’ experiences. You see how they bloom when they have access to high-quality early education—and the irreplaceable opportunities lost when they don’t. There’s power in your voices.

Together, let’s send a powerful, positive message to our elected officials. Let’s impress upon them what you need as educators, and what Georgia’s youngest children need as the future of our state.
