More About MSRC:

The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club promotes early literacy and vocabulary enrichment for children ages birth through five, and their families living in the City of Atlanta. The program designates a city-wide book choice for infants and children ages three to five to share with families at no cost to them.

Book Selections

We are pleased to announce that this year our book for children ages 3-5 is being produced in partnership with the Alliance Theatre and their playwright in residence, Pearl Cleage, along with Zaron Burnett and illustrated by Radcliffe Bailey. In My Granny’s Garden is a work of art that tells the story of a boy and his grandmother and learning how fresh produce is grown.

Children ages 0-2 will have two lift-the-flap- board book options: Grandma and Me or Grandpa and Me, by Karen Katz.
