Host Your Own Virtual No Small Matter Screening & Town Hall

GEEARS is excited to help bring virtual screenings of the documentary “No Small Matter” to communities across the state of Georgia! “No Small Matter” is a 70 minute documentary film that makes key early childhood development topics accessible to everyone in an engaging and clear way. Audiences will learn about things like developmental science, toxic stress, challenges facing new parents, educator workforce issues, and offers some road maps to a brighter future for all.

Partnering with GEEARS can provide a chance to engage with your community, while increasing awareness about early childhood development and highlighting efforts or resources in your community.

In Atlanta, we used this film screening for parents and families with young children as a primer for a following panel discussion with local leaders from fields like advocacy, education, and health. Whether your screening is for families or another constituency, GEEARS will help you think through and connect with the right leaders for maximum impact in your community.

GEEARS will supply the film screening and virtual town hall platforms, and run them with you for these events. Through a collaborative effort, we will find panelists and audiences in your area. Screening licenses are typically $75 each, but depending on when we book the event we may be able to do it free of charge.
