GEEARS Early Childhood Education Bus Tour 2017
The GEEARS Early Childhood Education Bus Tour is a two-day event intended to expose constituents to innovative early childhood education interventions throughout the state of Georgia. The tour date for 2017 is April 25th-26th. All expenses are paid for the tour.
This year, the bus tour heads to Columbus and Crisp County, GA. Participants will see military childcare options at Fort Benning and hear about exciting innovations in the Columbus area, before heading on to Crisp County (Cordele). In Crisp County, we will experience their innovative Pre-K classrooms, which are effectively bridging the gap between Pre-K and Kindergarten, putting the work of the Atlanta Speech School’s Rollins Center into action.
The tour will leave Atlanta the morning of April 25th and proceed to Columbus,GA. Tour participants will spend the night in Cordele on April 25th and we will return to Atlanta in the late afternoon on April 26th. The fee to hold your space will be refunded upon completion of the tour. All bus, food and lodging expenses will be paid for by GEEARS.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Tour participants will travel via coach bus from Atlanta. Secure overnight parking arrangements will be made close to where we board the buses.

What’s the refund policy?
The $100 fee guarantees your seat on the tour and will be refunded upon tour completion, or you may choose to donate it to GEEARS: Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students.
