2019 GEEARS Early Learning & Healthy Development Bus Journey
Apply to join us for the 2019 GEEARS Early Learning and Healthy Development Bus Journey to experience innovative early childhood education and healthy development interventions throughout the state of Georgia.
The 2019 GEEARS Early Learning and Healthy Development Bus Journey is a three-day, two-night event intended to expose business leaders, policymakers, community leaders, and early childhood education & health leaders to innovative early childhood education, business & community engagement initiatives, and healthy development interventions throughout the state of Georgia. The tour date for 2019 is April 25th-27th, and we will be traveling from Atlanta to Savannah with a few stops along the way.
This year, our travel will include tours of recognized high-quality early learning programs, conversations with local business leaders, government officials, and early education administrators, and we will visit the Savannah Early Childhood Foundation’s Parent University to see how this 2-generational approach is empowering parents to be better engaged in their young children’s education and development.
The bus will leave Atlanta the morning of Thursday, April 25th and proceed to Macon for a special stop before arriving in Savannah. Tour participants will spend the night in Savannah on April 25th and April 26th, and we will return to Atlanta in the late afternoon on April 27th.
Your registration fee covers your hotel fee, transportation on the bus, and some meals.
