“Children are our future is not just a line from a famous song. Our future will be in the hands of the children we are raising today. If we want a sustainable, productive future, we have to create it through equitable education opportunities, more access to childcare, and intentionally creating ways for families to spend time together. Georgia needs more access to after school and out of school programs. We also need more investment in early childhood education. Parents and guardians are a huge part of children’s lives, being a state that’s number 1 to do business sometimes results in horrible work life balance. This creates friction in families. We need to create opportunities where parents can invest time in their children. With the combination of education opportunities, and family bonding, Georgia will be the best state to raise young children.”
