Georgia is often touted as the best state to do business. How would you ensure that it is also the best place to raise young children?

"To make Georgia the best place to raise children, we must adopt a comprehensive approach that focuses on education, healthcare, safety, economic stability, and family support. I believe that investing in high-quality education from early childhood through K-12 is essential. This includes supporting teachers, providing adequate funding, and ensuring that all children, regardless of background, have access to the resources they need to succeed.

I believe expanding access to affordable healthcare is also crucial. By finding ways to strengthen our programs that provide preventive care, mental health services, and support for children with special needs, Georgia can ensure that all children receive the healthcare they need to thrive.

I believe creating safe and supportive communities is another priority; investing in law enforcement, community policing, and youth programs will help protect children and offer positive environments for them to grow.

It is also important we create economic opportunities for families to thrive. Policies that promote job creation, fair wages, and access to affordable childcare will provide parents the stability they need to support their families. Strengthening family support services, such as parental education programs and resources for families in crisis, will also build a stronger foundation for our childrenÕs success.

As a legislator, I enjoy having a seat at the table during the discussions to help ensure Georgia policies address these areas so that every child does have the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive, and prosperous environment."
